Commencement date: Construction following planning stages
commenced on 22 June 2006.
Hours of operation: Work is to be undertaken Monday - Friday
7 am to 6 pm, Saturdays 8 am to 1 pm, with no work on Sundays and public
holidays.

Contract awarded to Coastwide Civil Pty Ltd to
carry out construction of rock structures - eg. breakwaters, gap
reduction in existing southern training wall, extension to Elliot Lake
groyne.
Time period for completion is 63 weeks from date of contract.
Milestone 1
Scheduled for completion four weeks from date of
contract - preparation and submission of contractor's management plans
and details.
Milestone 2
Scheduled for completion 46 weeks from end of
Milestone 1 - sorting and placement of rock to construct the northern
and southern breakwaters (38 weeks). Sorting and placement of rock to
reduce gaps in existing southern training wall (four weeks). Sorting and
placement of rock to extend Elliot Lake groyne (four weeks).
Milestone 3
Scheduled for completion 13 weeks from end of
Milestone 2 - completion of all works including site disestablishment
and restoration.

project.

150 metres of the northern breakwater.

levels above the agreed opening level of 0.8m AHD. Water level at
